Who We Are

We are a network of 150+ strong, committed, and dynamic women, pledging to make a difference in the lives of girls in our community by providing financial support to the organization and mentoring support for the girls.

What We Do

Girls Inc. of Greater Miami’s mission is to inspire all girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold.

As proud members of this network, you are also a brand ambassador helping to spread the word and amplify our mission to inspire all girls to grow up Strong, Smart and Bold! You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in 4 different ways:
 
  • Career Mentoring
    You’ll be paired with our teen girls who are exploring career interests aligned with your skills and background. You’ll meet in a virtual setting based on mutual availability.
  • Creative Workshops 
    You’ll have the opportunity to lead a workshop that aligns with our programming that includes, but is not limited to:  Mindfulness, fitness, nutrition, STEM,
  • Networking Events
    Attend a variety of social events with fellow 150 Women throughout the year
  • Volunteer Support Opportunities to sign up for classroom support, event support and organizational support as needed throughout the year including, but not limited to, reading/academic tutoring, holiday toy drive, field trip chaperone.

You’ll also have the opportunity to join one of our 150 Women Committees:
  • Fundraising Hosting events, creating fundraisers
  • Membership
    Driving membership
  • Partnerships
    Identifying and connecting with other like-minded community organizations

Why We Do It

Girls are innately powerful, and they are the strong, smart, and bold leaders our future needs. When girls have the tools and opportunities to succeed, not only do they change their own circumstances, they also change the circumstances of others around them. THEY CHANGE THE WORLD!
