At Girls Inc. of Greater Miami, one of the most important things we do is create space for girls to discover—and embrace—who they truly are. It’s in the way they speak up for themselves, explore new interests, build friendships, and grow more confident with each new experience.

As one parent put it: “It is the program to help girls be themselves.”

That simple but powerful statement captures the heart of what Girls Inc. is all about. Every day, across elementary, middle, and high school programs, Girls Inc. provides the support and guidance girls need to build confidence, discover their voice, and grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

For elementary school students, our Strong Girls afterschool program is the place where girls gain the tools to navigate their friendships, achieve academic success, and build confidence in who they are. Through hands-on STEM projects, art activities, and life skills lessons, they learn how to solve problems, work in teams, and express themselves—all in a space designed just for them.

For middle school students, our Bold Voices curriculum introduces speech and debate in a way that’s both engaging and empowering. Girls learn how to speak up for what matters to them, think critically, and explore different perspectives—all while developing leadership skills in a supportive, inclusive environment that values respect and open dialogue.

In high school, our Power Hour program helps girls explore career paths they may have never considered. From hands-on workshops in cybersecurity and identity protection, to resume writing, financial literacy, public speaking, and health care advocacy, girls are exposed to real-world knowledge that equips them for life after graduation. Through mentorship and interactive sessions, they’re not just preparing for college or the workforce—they’re gaining the confidence to lead with purpose.
